How do I change my email address?

Click the Profile button on the menu bar.
Click Account Related Settings option.
Enter your new email address in the Email: box.
Enter your password in the Current Password: box.
Click Change Profile button.

You will receive an email at the new address, follow the link to confirm the change. Your email address will not change until you have done this in order to confirm you own the address and to prevent it being changed by anyone else.

You have now changed your email address.

How do I allow other members to send me an email?

Click the Profile button on the menu bar.
Click Account Related Settings option.
Clear the Hide email address from public? box. Click on the tick to do this.
Enter your password in the Current Password: box.
Click Change Profile button.

Other members can now send you an email by clicking the envelope that they'll see in your info panel.

How do I hide my email address from other members?

Click the Profile button on the menu bar.
Click Account Related Settings option.
Tick the Hide email address from public? box.
Enter your password in the Current Password: box.
Click Change Profile button.

Your email address is now hidden from other members.

You can change your email address and reveal/hide it from members at the same time.

NB: For site security purposes your email address is always visible to Administrators and Global Moderators.

How do I receive emails when a reply is made to my advert?

To receive notification emails when somebody replies to your advert.

Go to your advert
Click the Notify button (top right just above advert title).
Click OK in the little window that pops up.

To check that you will receive an email if somebody replies.

Click PROFILE button (on top menu bar).
Under Modify Profile, click Notifications and Email
Clear (no tick) the box next to: Receive reply notification only for the first unread reply.
Clear (no tick) the box next to: Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic.
Click the down arrow under For topics and boards I've requested notification on, notify me of: select Replies only.
Click Save settings button.
